Service robot JEEVES to relieve and support nurses
In today's news, we turn our attention to the Reddot winner JEEVES from Robotise, which has already arrived in everyday hotel life and is redefining the future of room service as a service robot. In a research project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Robotise, in cooperation with the LMU Klinikum, the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and Cliniserve GmbH, is to develop a combined system that will relieve the scarce personnel resources of the nursing service. Thanks to the practice-oriented approach, tasks unrelated to nursing could soon be taken over by the service robot, paving the way for further deployments in the healthcare or hospital sector.
Eckstein Design wishes Robotise and the project partners a lot of success in the development in the next 3 years and we are curious to see what other applications the future holds for JEEVES!
