Design overcomes corners and edges
The FlexiPass design is already considered an icon for cable management. With its smooth-running guide rollers and the ability to optimise their positioning, FlexiPass ensures a smooth cable diversion and transport at all corners and edges of cable trays.
One basic rule always applies wherever cables are laid: even under difficult conditions, cable damage is an absolute no-go, especially with sensitive data cables. Height differences and duct curves often make cable-laying an extremely tricky task. The deflection products available on the market so far only help to a limited extent, as they are complicated and time-consuming.
With our customer Lübbering Abrollsysteme, we have revolutionised cable management and routing: the FlexiPath routing tool is a universal cable routing system for cable trays of various running shapes. Its special highlight is the clever arrangement of the rollers. It allows for optimal and resistance-free cable routing, even up to a 38mm diameter. This system solves a real problem and enables electrical professionals and beginners alike to work intuitively, clearly and quickly.

In addition, the compact system can be quickly and easily assembled and disassembled at any time.

Agile design development
Agile design development and the human centred design strategy enabled the development of new methodologies and techniques that led the Eckstein Design Crew to the innovative design of FlexiPath. The One Step Module can be flexibly and easily adjusted on any cable channel via one-hand operation. This optimised the efficiency in handling.
Reducing manufacturing costs and improving quality were the biggest challenges of the project, along with creating a better user experience and smoother workflow. To enable a competitive price in the mid-range segment, there were strict specifications on material costs and assembly times that had to be taken into account at every step of the design process.
